This time we want to introduce you to Ayananana . A girl who dances in the odorite style, a “genre” that has flourished in the last 10 years, where Vocaloid fans or J-Pop groups make videos dancing to their favorite songs and then share them on sites like NicoNico Douga and YouTube.

Ayananana had been very interested in dancing since she was 13 years old, although she did not do it publicly. However, later in his life he had to face a situation that would change his life and put the realization of his dreams in doubt. She was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a rare disorder in which the body’s immune system attacks the nerves of the body, causing impairments in movement and sensation in various parts of the body, especially the extremities. Her legs became weak, forcing her to use a wheelchair during her treatment and rehabilitation.

Despite the debilitation it causes, most people who suffer from this syndrome manage to recover, and Ayananana seems to be improving little by little. For this reason, she decided a couple of years ago that instead of giving up her passion for dance because of of her situation, she would take it harder and be an odorite!

After posting her first video, an original rendition of the Hatsune Miku song called “Calc.”, she was highly motivated by the positive feedback, and wanted to expand her activities.

In a tweet he explains how dancing helps him keep his spirits up and inspires other people:

“At first I wondered why this disease happened to me. But then I decided that I would live my life with a positive attitude and find something to do. I started sharing videos not only because I love dancing, but because I want other people to see me dance (. ..) Some people have even commented that after watching my video, they would like to challenge themselves, reach new goals, so I want to keep sharing videos so they can see them.”

Ayananana also enjoys performing live. On his twitter he commented that he participated in an event in Shibuya called “No Odottemita No Life”. She was very happy that she was able to meet her idol, the famous odorite Aikawa Kozue , who even helped her up on stage. He even has his TwiCasting account where he streams.

He has mentioned in some interviews that he would like to create his own choreographies and continue dancing. In recent months he had not shared so many videos on his YouTube channel, but less than 1 month ago he delighted us with a wonderful collaboration, where he can always be seen with his spirit up, a contagious smile and a shining look. We hope that we can also catch your positive energy, set ourselves new challenges in life and face them in the most positive way possible!
