If you like retro things, vintage aesthetics, are a fan of the Showa era or vintage cars, the Megaweb History Garage is the right place for you. Its collection of cars and items from different periods is one of the best in Japan!

Personally, I love the retro style, so every time I visit, I relax and get inspired by the many things on display, from cameras, a recreation of 1960s Tokyo, and of course vintage cars.

The interior is sublime, as soon as you walk in you will feel transported back in time. Access is free, which makes the experience even better, and it is not a small place, since it has two full floors.

The first floor is a cozy retro-style cafe, called Alessandro Nanini, with some cars on display and a souvenir shop, where you can buy model cars. There is also a garage where you can see mechanics at work, which makes the experience even more unique.

On the second floor you will find cars from many past periods, as well as a realistic imitation of the city during the Showa period.

These numerous attractions on the second floor offer a unique experience, almost like being on a movie set. Definitely a place to take your camera!

The cars are not only from different periods, but also from various countries, including race cars. It is a special opportunity to admire them in one place.

The best way to travel within Japan is by train, which is super convenient and punctual, although its price can be high. For an even better price, we recommend traveling with the Japan Railways universal pass called JR PASS , which you can purchase on their website. This pass is purchased before traveling to Japan , arriving at the airport or at any train station , you can pick up your pass with proof of purchase .
