Nintendo opens its Gallery Museum in Kyoto with completion scheduled for 2023

Mama mia! Nintendo announced on June 2 that it will open the “Nintendo Archive Gallery” (tentative name)” facility to display the products that have been released by the company throughout its history and is scheduled to be completed in 2023.

The “Gallery Archive” will be built in the city of Uji, Kyoto, a factory that was built in 1969 where the company made Japanese playing cards called hanafuda , which were the flagship product in Nintendo’s origins.

Super Nintendo World opened in March at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka after months of pandemic-induced delays. Among many of the attractions there is a Mario Kart ride with life-size Bowser’s castle!

One more place to add to the list when you come to visit Japan!
